Youth shelter for young men and women from the LGBT community, Tel Aviv
Hagag Havarod is intended for young women and men from the LGBT community (aged 18-225), who need immediate and temporary shelter (from one night to four months). In addition to a warm bed, the shelter offers a solution to all basic needs: Protection, meals, a shower, someone to talk to and initial support in emergencies. All aimed to provide young men and women some relief from the survival situation in which they are and some time to plan and shape their immediate future.
During their stay at Hagag Havarod the young men and women can receive assistance in a variety of areas, according to the desires and needs of each and every one of them, in order to facilitate their period of reorganization and support the goals they have set for themselves. The solution offered include: Exercising rights (including assistance with Social Security processes); Access to health services; Emotional care and support; Employment assistance; Legal assistance; Mediation with the family; Mediation with the existing services and solutions and placement in follow-up frameworks.

LGBT Youth, Tel Aviv
Beit Dror Hostel is a temporary home for troubled boys and girls aged 13-18 from all over the country. Beit Dror provides a place to stay in for one night and up to three months. The youth arrive at the hostel independently, through welfare agencies, or with the help of LGBT community organizations.
The hostel staff consists of a principal, social worker, coordinator, supportive-educational evening counselors, national service male youth, young people serving for one year in “Iggy” (the gay youth organization) and about 60 volunteers. The main goal of the staff is to help youth who come to the hostel in times of crisis and distress – to allow them to reorganize while giving them a sense of security, respect and acceptance. The hostel acts to try and mend the rift between the youth and their families and aim towards finding a long-term solution in or out of home. During their stay, the youth receive individual and group care, education, guidance in obtaining life skills, classes and studies, and also – sometimes for the first time – recognition of their gender diversity or sexual orientation, and a respectful relationship.

Mevasser Tov is a temporary shelter for boys from the ultra-Orthodox sector. The hostel accepts boys aged 13-18 from all over the country, for a period of up to three months. The boys arrive independently or are referred by rabbis, welfare officials, activists and friends. The shelter offers the boys a warm place, a supportive shoulder and a listening ear, in a safe and protected environment.
“Mevasser Tov” has a multi-professional team that includes a manager, social worker, coordinator and instructors, who provide the boys with support and enrichment groups, classes, programs and activities that match their age and ability. The boys also receive individual care from the social worker. There is also a volunteering system that supports the staff and provides great contribution for the boys.

“Makom Acher” is a short-term hostel for boys and girls aged 13-18. The hostel is located in a four-story building at 16 Basel Street in Tel Aviv and accommodates youth from the Tel Aviv and the central district. The hostel offers a place to stay from one night and up to three months. The boys arrive independently or at the referral of welfare officials.
The hostel has a multi-professional staff that includes a manager, supportive staff, a coordinator, counselors and national service recruits. These provide boys and girls with a safe environment, which allows them to take a break and plan their way forward – back to their homes or onward to following frameworks. During their stay at the hostel, the youth receive individual treatment and group interventions, and join the learning center of HILA program, which allows them to complete educational gaps and reintegrate within the education system. The hostel has an extensive network of volunteers, which allows the youth to meet a variety of mature and benevolent figures. The volunteers are placed in various positions and contribute to the well-being of those staying in the hostel in a variety of areas.

“Atnachta” was established in 1996 as a shelter for youth in situations of risk and crisis in Jerusalem and its surrounding areas. Since its establishment until today, the hostel provides an emergency response and temporary response to teenagers aged 13-18, regardless of their religion or race.
The hostel is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. The hostel can host 18 people for a stay duration of one night to three months.
The stay at Atnachta is voluntary and with the consent of the parents or the approval of the welfare authorities. During their stay the boys fulfills all their basic needs: Warm bed, hot and nutritious food, clothing and footwear according to season and medical treatment if necessary. At the same time, they also receive professional interventions from the hostel staff, which provides them with care, listening, a place to rest and peace of mind.

Since its establishment until today, the hostel provides emergency response and temporary response to boys and girls aged 13-18, regardless of their religion, race or gender. The hostel is open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. The hostel has room for 16 guests who can stay at the hostel from one night to three months.

The shelter, located in Gilo, Jerusalem, offers the girls a warm place, supportive shoulder and a listening ear, in a safe and protected environment.
Ayelet Hashachar has a multi-professional team that includes a manager, social worker, coordinator, counselors and volunteers who provide girls with support and enrichment groups, classes, programs and activities that match their age and ability. The girls also receive individual personal care from the social worker. There is also a volunteering network, which supports the staff and greatly contributes to the girls.
